Backend and Next.js engineer. At Multibagg I have been an SDE 1 since 2023, building the services, APIs and data model behind a stock market product, the scheduled jobs that keep its data current, and the Next.js application on top of them. On my own time I build DevTools, 42 browser-based developer utilities, and QuantumBytes, which turns scattered Indian government data into something you can actually read.

- Develops key features for a stock market product, including user portfolios, financial calculators and AI-powered company summaries.
- Owns automated stock database updates through cron jobs, and recurring background work queued via BullMQ and Redis so each stage retries independently.
- Built the realtime alerting layer on AWS SES and the WhatsApp Business API, notifying users the moment something affects their portfolio.
- Optimised API performance with caching and containerised the application with Docker.
- Works across backend services and APIs, data and AI pipelines, the web frontend and the mobile client, on a small team with broad ownership.
- Built advanced data visualisations with Recharts, including interactive price graphs, and implemented authentication covering credentials, two-factor and social sign-in.
